A lot of it could have to do with the talent , coaches and time they play. Arkansas and LSU are both physics teams and Arkansas has played LSU the week after LSU plays the most physical and talented team in the country. That helps Arkansas against LSU and the fact Arkansas actually uses a QB that fits into their system. The only advantage that LSU has over Arkansas is talent . LSU against A&M shows why the ground and pound is so good at elite colleges . LSU is more talented and physical then A&M , so A&M gets beat up by LSU. While Arkansas also beat up on A&M , they don't have the talent to keep A&M's more talented athletes under control for the entire game.
