Spurrier? I believe he coached in the Sugar bowl in 2000 and Florida is in the SEC, a P5 conference.

Well, using that metric Saban was a washed up has been too but it seems to have worked out pretty well so far.
Oh, and Florida just hired a coach with two title rings as an assistant and beat two Power 5 teams OOC this year.
