Since the 1992-93 season, only nine different guards have averaged more than 15 points per game without hitting a 3-pointer. Whitt is one of those players, according to HogStats.com, and he is the only player since 1993 to accomplish the feat in a power conference. This season, Whitt is averaging 15.3 points per contest thanks to the help of his deadly mid-range shot on 53.0 percent shooting. He is 0 of 1 from 3-point range through 19 games.

Go Gamecocks! Hopefully we can steal one on the road, but Arkansas is tough at home. I think the Razorbacks get the win by 6 tonight.

It's always a possibility. I guess we'll see what the night brings.

Arkansas’ 24.3% 3-point defense ranks 1st NCAA / 1st SEC.

Although Miss State and TCU became just the fourth and fifth teams to shoot over 30% from 3-point range (both 6-of-19 for .316). the Razorbacks have held opponents to shooting 29 percent or worse 17 games, opponents have shot below 29% from long range 14 times.
Arkansas held Indiana to 23.8% shooting from 3-point range, Texas A&M to 28.6, LSU to 26.7%, Ole Miss to 23.1% and Ole Miss 25%. Overall, opponents are a combined 75-of-314 from long range.
