I know we still have problems staying between our man and the basket. Flawed fundamentals on defense. But what I liked today was that we were down nine and won by nine in the last nine minutes. That was flipped by playing better defense.
Plus if Arkansas had played like this all season they would have twenty wins.

You are right. As I reflect further, Arkansas is a quality opponent and win.
UK averaged 1.38 PPP. Do that each game and all you need to do is play decent defense and you win.
They seem to be getting tougher against more physical teams and that has been their Achilles heel this season.
Overall, things are headed the right direction at the right time. Still enough time to improve further.

This team for whatever reason, plays when they feel like it. See Purdue pre season, Duke games. Sometimes they done decide to play…see loss to Vandy at home, or being blown out by Auburn.

Arkansas lost eight games by 10 points or more and had some other losses getting close to losing by 10 as well.
This would been a huge blow to Kentucky if they lost to this clown team.
Arkansas already killed the aggies chances of getting an NCAA bid without winning the SEC tournament.
Arkansas can only play spoiler and if you are on the bubble or trying to get better seeding then you better not lose to this team.

You need some defense at minimum. Kentucky is a great scoring team, but what if shots arent falling and you are struggling to score? You need "some" defense to help with that or you are going to lose.
See our games against Tennessee, Gonzaga and South Carolina as examples.
