it was green and unproven last year

we started 2 3* reshirt freshman in the middle of our line

*Sigh*

I can find several positions that are "green and unproven" every year on every team...

Are you not concerned about your o-line?

I am worried about 1 spot.

We return two FR All Americans, 1 player in G. Cook who was a FR All SEC selection and pre-season All SEC this year. We also will start Sr.Grant Freeman who has played quite a bit and started games as well in his career.

The lone inexperience will come at the other tackle position in either Peacock or Brey Cook.

Of course, but O-line (especially the tackles) is a big one.

I have had this convo before with some arky posters, but the 3 games ya'll play before Bama will not show anything. I'd be concerned about going into Bama for ya'lls first test.

Lose that game, and you gotta run the table. I think Arkansas is really good, but I just don't think it will happen IMO.

What about the tackles?

It's not like we're playing a 3 man line

Freeman right now is better than 1st team pick Sowell and Peakcock/Cook combo will be ok. We've scored many a TD with a two TE set...oh and a mobile QB

I'm not that worried about it

Two All-Americans, one All-SEC and a Freshman that will more than likely be the best we've seen since Shawn Andrews and our o-line is the laughingstock of the SEC.

I honestly believe we have a legit shot of beating the shite out of everyone one our schedule. But I can also see us dropping 3-4 games. I feel like if we go to Tuscaloosa and beat Bama, then we will march into Baton Rouge 11-0.

O-line is definitely a concern of mine, but we could have enough luck bounce our way to overcome our shortcomings. It happens every year with every champion.

Same can be said for the other front runners of the SEC this up coming season, even if their fans won't say it...

I had a dream about this game the other day. Hogs won 30-28.

For the record, I've never in my life predicted an exact score correctly. But, I've never dreamed about a game either....

Someone help me with a name here. Who was the Bama back that ran it up the gut for 80 and a TD on what I think was their first snap of the game 7 or 8 years ago in Fayetteville. You could hear a pin drop after that little mishap.

Shaud Williams had two 80 yards TDs against Arkansas. First play from scrimmage in 2002. And again in the 3rd quarter of the 2003 game.

I was sitting in the Bama section in Razorback Stadium for that game. Great atmosphere leading up to the game. When Williams broke off that long run it was like all the air was let out of the stadium. Croyle and your defense played a solid game and the Hogs never recovered.

Even though I hate Auburn more than anything on this good green earth, that was funny!

It is one of the most interesting games in the SEC West. I think all the games between Alabama, Arkansas and LSU will be intriging.

As for this game, I am a bit torn. I do not see Alabama putting up huge points on Arkansas however, I think that part of Bama's game plan will be to control the ball.

If Bama can run the ball successfully and keep the Ark offense off the field then bama can win this game 17-14 however if Arkansas is able to stop the Bama offense from controlling the ball then I see Arkansas winning 31 - 14.

Arkansas is scary team this year. Knile Davis and the receiving corp is for real. Wilson is servicable as a QB. The defense has improved.
