Actually grew up in KY so my blood is blue. Son attends Alabama so I guess I got two sports covered. Anyway... good luck Arkansas. Like I said, your team has held it's own this season and should have a good showing come Saturday. A win? Probably not. But a close game goes a long way for you guys.

Of course. It's getting to epidemic proportions now.

from a small town in Central KY. Listened to Cawood for years on the radio. But hey... believe what you want. I could give a rat's as*.

I tried to giove the Hogs a compliment. But this isn't Nolan Richardson and crew coming in to Rupp. It's 40 minutes of hell... just reversed. Enjoy.

I'm just waiting for either (both!) Wake or (and!) UK to return to their rightful place as a dominant football powerhouse; then I'll have two sports covered too!

In all seriousness, where in Central Ky are you from? Why did you hit the road and forsake God's country?

Original poster is forgetting the requisite REF threads after the game.

From Campbellsville originally. Then to WKU for my undergrad work. From there, my work took me to Nashville then to Bama.

Good call. Cayuts have never beaten anyone without help from the zebras. I think we can all agree that we pay them, or something.

Ahh I knew some folks from down around Campbellsville. Seems like they all had goatees. It was super consistent--and mind blowing.

JB Holmes reps the Campbellsville goatee HARD.

Spent some time there recently visiting family and friends. Outside the college, not much happening.

Heard Taylor Co is pretty good this year and got a big time player with lots of offers. Spent a lot of my youth going to the Sweet 16. Good atmosphere for some basketball.

And JB reps the town well with his golf. Glad to see a local guy make it.

Hahaha I was talking about the awful MTV show, but I agree with everything you posted. I still try to hit the State tournament with my dad.

LOL... my pop media culture lacks these days. I do remember when MTV was the shi*. Sadly now it is simply shi*.

My brother and I would attend every game of the Sweet 16. We would work the crowd outside, swap tickets, scalp a little, and end up with great seats for the finals. It was like a rite of passage every spring.

It was so much better when the semis were on Saturday morning and the final was that night. Now they've got them on Saturday and Sunday nights, respectively. Used to make for an awesome day.
