I’m torn. I’m still getting over that humiliation against UConn, not one but 2 sports Bama dropped the ball this year. A shroud of humiliation hangs heavy over the SEC. Two losses on the big stage from one of our flagship schools. The committee's baffling decision to exalt Bama over the indomitable Georgia was a dagger to our hearts, a mockery of true athletic merit. And then, the unthinkable – a team clad in the crimson and houndstooth exposed the conference's vulnerabilities for all the nation to see. Shame burns in our throats like acrid smoke.

But should we truly cast aside the brotherhood forged in countless victories, the legacy etched in blood, sweat, and triumph? Perhaps this is a crucible, a trial by fire. The path to redemption will be arduous, the committee's trust a summit seemingly unreachable. It may very well be that the SEC never gets favoritism again because of Alabama’s failures. But shall we wallow in the ashes of defeat, or shall we rise, a phoenix reborn from the flames of disappointment? I say let us strategize a return to dominance, a reclaiming of our rightful place on the national stage, even if we all have to pick up the slack thrust towards us by an incompetent source in the form of Kalen DeBoer.

Discuss.

So it was unfair that Bama got in over FSU, but it would not have been unfair for UGA to get in over a Bama team that beat them head-to-head and was conference champs? Trying to keep up with the "logic" around here gets confusing.

I'm just wondering, have you gotten over Brian Kelly's defense these last 2 seasons? Or how the great Notre Dame coach is finally settling into making LSU a 3 and 4-loss team every year? Has it finally occurred to all purple people yet that this is what Kelly is? Are you possibly over the ignominious rarity of having the privilege of simultaneously mourning, not only basketball sanctions but football sanctions as well? And how's that Wadeless basketball team doing these days?

"Now, that's some fine humiliation."

Why are you guys so sensitive. I’m literally saying how, out of compassion and SEC loyalty, I’m willing to forgive Bama. But please, do not do this to us again. DeBoer probably won’t give you the chance but I’m talking about after he gets fired.

1 season. And yes.

I’m actually stoked about that considering what we had. Please stop deflecting. This isn’t about Brian Kelly. This is about the reputation of the SEC that Bama is interfering with.

Bama fans and their inferiority complexes. They refuse to believe not everyone hates them. It’s very bizarre.

The vast majority have "Bama" in the title.

No surprise there.

As a Bama fan, I guess in some ways we do owe an apology.

Sorry we couldn’t carry the rest of the SEC this past year. I know you all have grown accustomed to Bama having to tout your sorry asses.
