For UK?

All of them.

They are technically in it though, I suppose. Mizzou and UGA are down. UT, UF and SC are way down.

Fair enough. I think it's doubtful that UK gets close to Atlanta from a SECCG perspective.

After watching this team play though, you can tell that Stoops has instilled a never quit, winning attitude. Many folks had given up on them when they were down 14 in the 4th, but they showed something we haven't seen in a while and were able to comeback and win.

My original season record was 4-8 or 5-7. I now think 7+ wins is possible, but still a very young team that could struggle game in and game out. Will have to see what happens game to game.

Nice to hear the talk though.

Mizzou is certainly not down. Anytime Mizzou is in talks to win the division, they are up. I mean, look at the programs history. Not much to be proud of there.

The one thing I hear about this team is that folks who played in the SEC say the guys look more like SEC type players. Depth will always be a problem with deep teams like Alabama but if they really are size and speed equal to the competition the probability of higher win totals rise along a corresponding line in the sand so to speak.

Look at Pinkels history. This years team is certainly average by his standards.

By your definition we have been "up" 2 of 3 years since joining the league and the other we were destroyed by injuries.

I know this is a troll thread, but UK will not win the East. UK fans will be thrilled to death of we go 4-4 in conference play. Will far exceed expectations.

My expectations going in were a SEC win, double the win total from last season (4 wins), and just be competitive. They've already been met for me. Anything else from here on out in Stoops 2nd year is beyond what I expected.

The way they struggled with the run last night I don't see anyway they beat Georgia (who I expect will win the East when it's all played out). Tennessee is a possibility. Mizzou is schizo so who knows what happens there. LSU is on the road but they haven't exactly looked like world beaters. I don't see us beating State, too many weapons and their defense is pretty nasty.

I figure we finish around 3rd in the East. And that the Louisville game might decide bowl eligibility.

Cats are jelling fast but I don't know if UK has enough horsepower to run with the West, or UGA and Mizzou. Maybe next year. Every game will be competitive at least.

Now you get it. Teams with depth aren't as effected by injuries. Mizzou has never had depth.

They will have to beat one of UGA and State and I don't know if I can see that happening. They can, and should, absolutely beat everyone else in the East they play though.

UK is heading in the right direction with Stoops, and I think that almost (sorry Vandy) anything is possible this year in the east.

Um Mizzou is down. They lost all their best WR's, starting RB, Starting QB, some OL. How many starters did they return on offense....4??? Then lost good people on Defense. Yes any team losing that much talent will be "down". Sorta like LSU and South Carolina. Lost too many talented players.

Mizzou is down from last year, but as far as overall trends go they are up. Way up.

WTF? Get out of here with that shite. People said Mizzou won the East because of other teams injuries. But when Mizzou was injured 2012, they couldn't use injuries as excuse, they didn't have "depth".

So Florida and UGA have no excuse for last year?

I thought Louiseville would compete for the ACC title this year but have pulled back on that prediction. I do forsee the game with Kentucky being a good game this year though and am looking forward to it

It would mean the Mayans were off by 2 years.
