I like how AU fans always argue Jimbo isn't on the Saban tree. As if the fact that he's from an offense background matters. You don't think Jimbo employs aspects of Saban's process in the FSU program? Sure he was with Terry Bowden longer. But guys can be on multiple trees. Saban himself is from the James and Belichick trees.

Mark Dantonio would be a home run hire

Too bad pretty much all of then save a couple have been flops.

Maybe people should use independent thought in deciding whether to invest 30 million dollars into a single person

But scrooster has known Mark for forty years and says he's a Midwest guy at heart and will retire at MichState.

Ex-wives have little say in where their ex-husbands live and work.

Saban disciples are the trendy pick right now but they're all taken at the moment are they not?

Successful head coaches: Dantonio, Fisher
Unsuccessful head coaches: Dooley, Muschamp
Jury is still out: McElwain, Smart

Seems like a crapshoot. I wouldn't hire somebody just because of who their boss was.

Obviously they use us and tSECr as their muse.

Interesting about Coach Burns.

Belichick ... hadn't thought about that. Odd, yet predictable, how that works not just in football but in life.
