Are you talking about 1963 or 1962? The 1963 team lost to Alabama in the Sugar Bowl, 12-7 on 4 Tim Davis field goals. Alabama won with their 2nd string QB (Steve Sloan) because Joe Namath had been suspended (got caught hanging out at the Jungle Club).
