It must really suck to be a state fan going for 14th streight loss in a row. I will say though the delusion is as strong in this fan base as any in the country, love the sunshine pumping and the great attempts at troll jobs. Its really a fun time on a recurring annual basis that is LSU-State. So here's to you State fans,May the tradition continue many more moons!

I like LSU pretty well, but has a program with so many resources ever done so little with so much? It's like playing on easy-mode and just doing "okay". Being State is like playing hard-mode all the time. When you have a 9 or 10 win season, it's actually something to relish. I dunno, i guess if one of the least populated, but most football-talent-rich states in the us of a had just one team and dominated errbody it would be cool. Just seems unsportsmanlike.

No diss, but you should be more like Bama at this point. Kudos for accomplishments in the last decade or so, but not really impressive historical-like. I mean, it's not just you...I'd say florida is there with you. Just sayin, compared to a state like Miss, with 3 big programs and tiny population, just figured youda done more.

Really, we have ole miss to blame for there being two SEC schools in the state. The high class lawyer types didn't want mechanical and ag types at their school. Never mind that Ag is the #1 sector of the miss economy. They put the kybosh on that and required a second school for engineering and ag. Cause god knows journalists and lawyers are the backbone of a healthy society...gag. Engineers, scientists, and agronomists are nothing but trouble, right? Anyway, it reminds me of the old scottish clans...too busy fighting each other to defend their gatdam country.

It has been. They've pulled some recruits in the past. Bigger than LT, ULL, ULM i would say.....with a much smaller population

Also, ole miss is the safety school for kids from uga, tx, mizz etall. Dont mistake um kids as reps of the state of miss. Statistically, theyre chaps that couldnt get info their own state schools. Not da judge, just truth. Just like that poor chap that got his dome cracked was from indiana.....we used to call those people carpetbaggers. Fyi
