I feel fairly confident that tOSU, Clemson, and Bama are going to make the playoffs with a very good shot at being undefeated.

So that leaves one playoff spot yet. If either team goes undefeated, do they get in over a 1 loss Big 12 champ or 1 loss P5 team?

I like the way you distinguish between the two.

MAYBE Cincy if a lot of teams lose but definitely not BYU

If you look at those schedules, you have your answer. No. There are probably 20+ teams that would go undefeated with that schedule

100% Agree, but currently, Cincy is sitting at #7. I fully expected Notre Dame, Georgie, and Ok State to drop a game. I guess the voters put an artificial ceiling on them and say no matter what I am not moving to top 5.

Not without a marquee non conference game.
Both teams have been impressive though but it's no ones fault that BYU's schedule got ripped to shreads.
I'm not sure who Cincy had non conf scheduled before the season either.
And even then, it would have to have been an impressive non conf win over someone like Ohio St or another strong Big 10 team for Cincy and a strong PAC 12 team or Big 12 team for BYU.
I credit BYU though, they always schedule decent non conf games against Power 5.

Cincinnati looked awfully, awfully good last saturday. They have been balanced both offensively and defensively. I think that their coaching is largely responsible though with Luke Fickell and DC Marcus Freeman having them so prepared. Nice team but don't think they are final 4 material.... Maybe, maybe top 10.

Cincinnati maybe, but they really needed Memphis, Houston and UCF to be ranked and it doesn't look like that's going to be the case

It’s 2020. Throw Cincy in, let them get embarrassed, and shut the G5 shite up moving forward

At the moment I would guess Okie State. Plus, he needs that million back he lost for wearing a T-shirt.

BYU is not worthy and Cincy still may drop a game

BYU has the best chance of the two of going undefeated, but their schedules is worse, so probably no.

My old high school could win 8-9 games with those schedules

I think no matter who the fourth team is in the playoff they are going to get plowed. If they want to put one of these teams in it then so be it,maybe it can shut the ucf type of teams up.

Although I do like watching BYU play, they have a good offense.
