Cam needs to learn one thing from Saban, that is how to disrespect the media while still actually talking to them.

Look, if you guys are just counter-trolling, then alright. But if you can't honestly tell that all of this laughing and yucking it up is due solely to the constant Cam GOAT stuff over the past 3 months, then I don't know how to help you.

More to it than that. Cam's own behavior has more to do with this than over exposure.

Hey, I'm not saying your fans don't have a reason to be melting like they are, but as you said, 28-27 was 3 championships ago. If I'm an Alabama fan, Cam doesn't get a second thought in my mind. It's just very funny to watch how salty so many of your fanbase is towards him still

95% of the Super Bowl/NFL storylines mentioned on the Rant the last 10 days were regarding Cam Newton, most of them started by Auburn Cam fans. What exactly did you expect when said player goes under 50% passing, has 2 fumbles and an INT and then acts like an 8 year old in his post-game press conference?

I don't hate Cam, don't pretend to like him either. I lived in Charlotte from 95-2001 when the Panthers were starting up and have ever since liked them, even with Cam.
I grew up a Steelers fan, loved the Steel Curtain, Bradshaw, Mean Joe Green, Franco Harris, Lynn Swann, Jack Hamm and etc. I don't really follow NFL that closely and have no real favorite. Have teams I like, Steelers, Panthers, Falcons, and the Saints. Don't like the Cowboys.

Half those threads were started by other fans (LSU, A&M etc.)
Again the biggest reason for all the anti-Cam threads was due to all the sucking off you AU fans did over the last few months (way more than 24 hours) along with many acting like they were huge Panthers fans.
And don't act like you AU fans wouldn't have done the same exact thing if a Bama QB chocked in the SB.
Plus it's the off-season of CFB, there's not much to talk about.

I know it's a common phrase, but I couldn't have cared less if he had won or lost. I personally -want- to like him, but his recent scape-goat-ism race card playing PR stunt really sorta bumped him down, man. I enjoy someone that can play as badass as he can and brags and is a loud personality, and enjoys themselves on the field and smiles and just seems to have so much fun... It just sucks knowing he thinks it's because he's black that people hate on him. I hoped he was beyond that type of excuse making mentality.
Anyway... I only truly hated him when he wore the evil boog emblem!

I get past that sorta thing after a few years of a player being in the NFL. I enjoy watching greatness do great, no matter what ultimately. With the allegations of his PED stuff, I'm beginning to doubt whether or not I should pull for Manning tho.. I hope it turns out to be TOTALLY false.

Because Saban coaches at Bama. LSU couldn't care less about anybody else. Seriously. Losing to Arkie means nothing to them. Only a 2nd rate school thinks like that. Everybody matters to Bama. Ohhh, they will deny it but check the Saban threads every day or the Bama this or that. It way outnumbers anybody else. The Saban factor son, they ain't been right since he came to Bama.
