Yes, both teams will win 6 games, if the ball bounces really well got them then they can get to 8 wins.

Is Mittippi State going to beat any ranked teams in 2013?

What does the Rant think?

Auburn: Yes. The Gus Bus will be up and running for 2013.

Arkansas: Not so much. 2014 at the least.

Yes, 14-0 is better than 4-8

Auburn will be better in 2013... Arkansas is about to go through a complete overhaul... Could be a long year or two up on the mountain... MS State is going to challenge Bama for the West... They are going to have the best group of RS freshmen that CFB has ever seen.. Ever... In the history of America... Ask any state fan

Arkansas will have 1 more random win.
Auburn will do the same or worse.

Even if you don't think Gus will work for AU, I think he will make improvements quickly. Whether or not he and Auburn hit a wall at 8-9 wins (not next year, in general) is the question. But I have no doubt that as early as the middle of next year, Auburn will be a fun offensive team to watch, and that'll pay dividends sooner.

I think Auburn's future looks brighter sooner. I refuse to believe that Auburn was as untalented as they played last year. Auburn has the raw talent on the rooster, the talent just needs to be whipped into shape.

Arkansas might be a tougher nut to crack. I don't think they have the raw talent laying around. BMFP was more of a coach em upper than a recruiter. He was the guy that made the whole thing work. Look at the mess that Louisville was in when he bailed in them. Brian Brohm was being touted as a Heisman candidate and first QB drafted under Petrino. Under Krags, not so much.

But then again, I'm an idiot sometimes, so there's that.

A lot depends on how fast Brandon Allen (or Brandon Mitchell?) comes along.
6 wins I feel fairly good about, 7 is probably the ceiling for the first year under CBB.
So, yes, I'd say we'll be better.

I really hope the coaches in the SEC think this way.

I think Auburn will be twice as good as they were last year.

Concern:
S
CB

Slight concern:
QB
OG (depth)
RB (star depth)
FB (star depth)

Same:
WR
TE
DT

Improvement:
DE
OT
C
MLB
OLB

Arkansas will get 6 or more wins as long as RB Jonathan Williams stays healthy, the OL improves, and the secondary doesn't play at the same level as last year or worse.
