I'm here to talk about a football player -- which technically, falls under the category of "talking football," not be beaten about the head and shoulders by fans who feel some inexplicable need to white knight for said player's every action.

but to answer your question seriously. do you really not see how fricked up the past month has been for aggie fans? manziel does something really stupid. ESPN and the national media and this very site telling us we need to get rid of him. to only then have ESPN send reporters to our fricking campus to do hit pieces on our code to the point where directly after sumlin says we wont discuss the manziel situation, schwarz goes "so i found out about the aggie code and do you think manziel broke it?" and then his arse stayed on campus for the week going around asking students (which i so fricking wished he got to me) about how we feel about manziel and the aggie code. only to then have manziel play and have the national media go ape shite over him making money signs, which he and the entire team have did last year, and about how he was talking shite (which IMO is a good thing to have him play with a chip on his shoulder), and then discuss how sumlin is pissed at manziel when there where 50 other things that went down in that game which put him on a short fuse
i for one am just sick of all the bull shite that a&m has had to put up with the past month and this latest fiasco is just the most idiotic of them all

Oooooo big deal. He sat him after the game was well in hand. To the other aggies, the story in ESPN directly quotes his father bad mouthing the university so keep burying your head in the sand.

There is a difference between acting like he is a white knight and LOLing at those of you on here TMZing up everything he does. Yes he is a douche, but being a douche is not against the rules, nor is it the first or last time a good player will be a douche. Many on here are being drama queens.

Take notes, GamerAg and PowerTool. It was on the news. That's the primary reason we're discussing it. If I felt insecure about everything I saw on the news, I'd be a fricking shut-in. Go send angry letters to ESPN... better yet, send Johnny a letter asking him to kindly not be a douche in public.

When the guy shows zero class and zero respect for the university that gave him a chance to be what he is today then he needs to be put in his place.
