Someone please put from flex-seal on Tr. The imaginary and fantasy BS is leaking all over the place and is threatening to flood the bathroom floor. Com'on, the Tigers may turn out to be good... but right now they are 2-1 and the "2" are both less than impressive. So...
Frankly it is embarrassing for the State to have these provincial and country-dumb people constantly touting how great the individual players of LSU are. Honestly... eight 2017 first round NFL draft picks? Really? Unfortunately that is what is seen by football fans everywhere? Good god!!!

You come across as a very angry man. I think you need to take some R&R from the board for awhile.

When teams start chipping Key with a TE or leaving a RB out of the pass routes to help block then he can be in the conversation.
The fact that this thread was started just proves that there is a level of delusion exclusive to LSU fans.
If you guys have the best player in college football at every position then why do your players get their shite pushed in every year.
The talent level at LSU used to be able to overcome the incompetence of Les Miles. That is no longer the case.
LSU' s talent level at one point was rivaled only by Pete Carroll's USC teams. Those days are long over.

Just stop.
Key is 6'6 240 as a true sophomore.
Garrett is 6'5 260 as a junior.
Von Miller was like 245 when he was drafted and 250 now. Mingo is 240 five years into his NFL career.Half the league has guys playing at 240. But babble on, bro.

I doubt thats Key real weight. Mingo has been a massive bust. Von Miller has a chance at a hall of fame career. He is a special player.
Just because he is able to do it has zero bearing on Key's ability to do so.
Key is more likely to have a Mingo or Bruce Irvin type of career than be a Superbowl MVP.

Key is not 240. Use your eyes and look at him instead of the program, kid is a stick. He's closer to 230 IRL. And at 6'6" 240 is a little skinny anyway for an NFL pass rusher. Ideally at his height he should be at least 250 to maximize his draft potential.
Didn't he come out of HS close to 200? Hard to believe he's put on 40 pounds of good weight in about a year and a half without steroids. He does have a good frame, but still..

He was 243 at weigh in in August. 238 after Fall practice. It's almost like you haven't seen him since last year. If you look at his lower body, he's a different guy from August 2015 when he arrived on campus like a bean pole. Minimize his skills all you want, but don't pretend he is too small for the NFL and/or won't continue to develop physically

This, all of it

I'm shocked... an LSU fan declaring a sophomore role player is the best in the... pick it "Universe, world, continent, US, SEC, in history, ever, never...." It is actually comic relief except that they seem to actually believe their own hype. Of course this is a gift that keeps on giving when their supposed supermen run straight into kreptonite.
Has anyone noticed that fans of other teams generally do NOT claim one of their players is "once in a generation," "All world," or that their team will be starting "at least eight 2017 FIRST round NFL draft picks?
Is it any wonder that LSU people get laughed at and made fun of?
Next thing we will hear from LSU is that some fat arse DT is all-world, when actually he has done nothing but get pushed around like the Pillsbury dough boy.
LOL>>>

Garrett weighs 272 currently according to the updated roster and reports from fall camp.

Funny thing is at 272 he still is a soft cum sock against the run.

Key has far greater upside and his upside is much higher than Garrett's ever was.
Posted on 9/18/16 at 9:35 pm to BowlJackson
Man I wish Key would have stuck with us. Kid is a freak show. But when he came out of HS I think he was about 220-225. Still light for a DE/OLB.

Eh. I don't agree.
Myles is more substantial and has a higher ceiling.
Sorry

Browns want a refund.
Garrett is is 6'5" 270. We'll let the teams drafting next spring decide where he stands, rather than starting a stupid thread like this one.
