glad you know all about our coaching situation better than we do

the fact is he was one of three coaches Arkansas fans wouldn't have been upset about losing - him plus Chaney and Michael Smith. Thomas's recruiting left a lot to be desired. But I guess Auburn fans aren't big on facts

Every coach who goes somewhere else did so because Bert was tired of them, Gus wanted the Arky job but settled for title-contender Auburn, we know, we know.

So you were both wrong? He paid his employee, but an NFL job seems like a step towards coordinator in his career.

I wasn't wrong. It was a setup.

Believe us if it was Pittman or Robb Smith we would be melting hard right now.

RB coaches are easily replaceable and his recruiting left a lot to be desired

Perfect...an awful coach joins the Saints staff and a good (for their staff at least) coach leaves an SECW team

I think the rumor was that he was going to Illinois State. It was never confirmed why he was kicked off the team but supposedly it was multiple failed drug tests. He was suspended for most of the past season before finally being kicked off towards the end.

I don't understand. Did Bert not ask the team what they wanted or how they felt? I feel like this process should have been a little more democratic.

I would move smith to RB coach and try to go after George McDonald again for WR coach but knowing Bielema it will be someone never on the radar haha

But instant recruiting upgrade

Not well. NO tears here.

Actually, may be a decent coach, but how fricking much can you really coach a RB? At least ball carrying skills? Blocking, blitz pick up etc, but you either got it or you don't when you get the rock in your hands.

Not a great recruiter.

Good coach but shite recruiter. He'll do well in the NFL. And we can definitely get an upgrade from a recruiting standpoint.

He's a good coach but almost a non factor in recruiting.

I don't think it will be hard for Bielema to find a RB's coach.
