They want the players to be capable of delivering a big hit but don't actually want them to follow through with it?

Steroids are grossly overrated. There's not much of a difference between a modern weight program and a modern weight program with steroids.

You need the HGH / Insulin cycle to make a real difference.

Hell, my high school , west Monroe, was full of roids. My senior year I went from 175- 215 in 3 months. Blood dripping from my nose on to math exams in class.

I always figured roids might make you huge, but they'd give you nads like peanuts.

Bama's DL and LBs all gained 30 lbs after Saban got there. I'm sure that's just a coincidence.

I don't have much experience in NFL calibre training and diet programs so my opinion isn't worth much, but I'm inclined to disagree

They do. They go back to normal once you're off long enough though assuming you didn't permanently shut off your natural production

The tren really messed with my head back then

Buddy of mine back in Atl that I used to party with did Tren. Dude was 6'2 and a lean 215 without it. Former gold gloves boxer as well. With it, he was 235 and crazy. We got in an argument one night while out, I was in the back seat, him driving. Stopped in the middle of the road, came at me from the front seat, ripped my damn shirt off pulling it over my head. We got out of the car and went at it briefly before other buddy in the front seat got a hold of him. He beat up dudes at clubs a couple of different times and took on 5-6 mexican security guys in Cancun with me one night when they wouldn't let his GF crash in my hotel room (she was wasted) while we kept partying. Oh yeah, punched through a window (driver side) of somebody in a fit of road rage in Buckhead.

I don't think MOST types of steriods frick with people as far as aggression. I think that is WAY overblown.

But Tren is a whole different animal.

Um...they went from a Shula "buddy-buddy" style S&C system to a Saban/Cochran "Just fricking do it or beat the bricks" style S&C system.

Saban recruiting probably helped also...unless you're of the opinion that NFL prospect types flocked to Shula.

I would not recommend tren for anyone, especially those that show ANY kind of psychological issues. Tren will make anyone go crazy, and turn those already somewhat crazy into psychopaths

Not at all. Steroids do crazy things to your muscles and ability to work out.

Yeah, my buddy was crazy and relatively violent to begin with. Former boxer that liked to fight, then would get on Tren and was sometimes just a menace. He would warn me though and tell me when he was doing it and ask me to watch out for him. Lot of good that did when he was liquored up tho.

who thought it was a good idea to liquor that guy up?

just kidding had a friend in highschool on steroids, when a party was getting boring we'd always feed him shots and watch the madness unfold. Luckily we were very close friends so I didn't really have to worry to much about him trying to kill me.

I really had some great times with the dude. He and I were about as close as brothers for a while. He would always refer to me as his lil bro.

Some crazy as shite stories though. Fights, him knocking a dude out with a head butt at a strip club cause a dude grabbed a girl's arse we were talking to, the Cancun fiasco with 5-6 mexican hotel security guys (he pretty much tried to kill all of them and we had to GTFO), all kinds of shite. One night he and another juiced up buddy were in the front of the car and got into a heated argument as we were on the way to the Cheetah. He stopped the car and I told them I was getting out and walking the last block and going in and they could kill each other or whatever the frick they felt like, I wanted to see some nekkid women.

Tren is just not something a person that is already a hothead that likes to fight should ever get near.

Me and several teammates did roids back in high school. The tren really messed with my head back then. Definitely never would have touched the stuff if I had to go back. I've read that Deca durabolin is traceable in your system for 18 months. How do these players never get caught when they go to the nfl?

You were doing tren in fricking high school? You and others that do that are the dumbest mfers on the planet
