four of the top ten are from the BIG 10...in related wonders, the cubs are world series champs and Donald trump is the president elect. The SEC are no long king of the hill in college football.

Wisconsin over Washington?

Wisconsin is the more solid team...Washington has a better chsnce at competing and staying in the game with the Crimson Tide.

USC, OU, and Colorado could beat a lot of teams in front of them. What bizar year in CFb

Wow, the Big Ten gets so much love.
I am sorry, I just do not see it.
Ohio State has struggled most times with a team that has a pulse.
Penn State has gotten better, but no way they should be ranked that high.
Wisconsin plays tough, but their offense is meh.
And well, just frick Harbough.

It's the end of times. Trump in the White House, dogs and cats lying together, and a Bama fan in total agreement with an auburn fan.
Well said, Sir.

I actually think PSU and Wisconsin are very good teams. I think UM is too high esp with their QB out.
But the Big has more good teams this year than the SEC. All the way to Indiana and Minnesota being decent.

The Big Ten benefits from being very top heavy. Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Penn State would likely be very good in any P5 league.
The SEC continues to be extremely competitive in the middle, and pollsters have a hard time ranking teams with 4+ losses, even if the league cannibalizes itself.
This year is a bit of an anomaly, too. The top 6 (committee rankings) have separated themselves from the pack. There's no real second tier like we normally see, so once you get to 7, you can put most schools in a hat and draw them to make your poll.

Oklahoma can't beat one team in front of them. And can't beat a lot of teams behind them

oklahoma has an outside shot of making it especially if Ohio State wins out.

Oklahoma actually wants Ohio state to lose. Than only one big ten team is going.
