The AP, as most rational football fans, acknowledges that the Ole Miss loss in Baton Rouge was very flukey and that had Treadwell not broken his ankle, Ole Miss likely wins last night, thus being 8-1 instead of 7-2.

Two flukey losses > Two blowout losses

When y'all beat us it was an upset. The voters know we're the better team.

At least, that's what y'all spewed last year.

game was a fluke at best

I have no problem with the rationale for Ole Miss being higher than LSU and actually lean towards agreeing with it, but if anything, the fact LSU didn't win by 10-14 was the flukey part of the game.

It doesn't matter anyways. This poll is almost useless.

I agree, but it's hard to find the logic in Justifying Ole Miss being ranked higher by saying LSU's win was not impressive enough to justify ranking them higher than that unimpressive team.

Certainly the Auburn game is a much more legit reason.

I highly doubt ole miss wins on a nuetral field.. LSU dominated them and LSU is amazingly successful on a neutral field.. Now on the road at their place is a different story.

LSU is not going to the playoff. Just let it go. No one respects this LSU team. And that won't change regardless of this week's game against Alabama.

Are you really confused because Ole Miss appears before LSU on the list? Like seriously, you stopped there rather than reviewing the records?

Yikes

We have 1 more win than you. Therefore we are ahead of you. You're not good with numbers I presume.

Oh I see now. you were looking at overall record as opposed to SEC record. Well my friend the good news is that you are not terrible with numbers, but simply a fricking idiot :^). These here are what we call SEC standings, where the SEC record counts and non conference record does not matter. if you have any further questions concerning football or anything of that nature feel free to ask. I enjoy helping young bucks such as yourself learn a thing or two so in the future the said "student" does not make themselves out to be such a retard.

So will Ole Miss hang another banner if the west ends in a five way tie and they sit home on Dec. 6?

We share a two in the loss column. What we don't share is a win in the head to head column. We are tied with the head to head breaking the tie. Discussing who has played more games to this point is dumb since we play the same number at year's end.

No need to take your anger for your crumbling season out on me.

I think ole miss should be higher than 12. unfortunate game. LSU has lost its games pretty bad so 14 is good for the time being.
