State was 2nd in the west last year. This year Theyre battling for last place.

It's in response to some bad OOC losses early and then those teams subsequently beating our higher ranked teams.
The reality is those losses happened in every conference, but the effect was a bread spread of teams from around the country without a clear cut dominant conference. The Big-10 actually looked like the best conference for a while if you went by rankings and we all know that wasn't the case.
The remedy to that is take care of your early OOC games, especially to non-P5 teams. You can't sleepwalk through cupcakes like you used to. Offenses are too adept.

I knew it wasn't down. There are teams from other conference that can hang with the conference. When Arkansas and Ole Miss lost out of the power 5 , that gave anti SEC people some fuel. I think this dominance will keep them quiet for awhile.

Didn't seem to bother the B1G against the PAC.....only against the SEC.
