It's pretty clear that Grier was the best QB in the SEC and performing miracles with limited talent on that offense when he got popped for PEDS.

He didn't show up at 172, he showed up at 184 iirc. He's listed on the roster at 203 pounds, the 215 weight was a tweet by his dad.

BTW, even if he showed up at 172 lbs as a freshmen, he had what ,13 months to gain 40 lbs? That's not too outlandish.

That's what I looked at, his "official" listed weight, not what daddy boasted. Either way, talented kid, will have another shot but from what I hear the Del Rio kid was doing better in camp but due to transfer has to sit this yr. So we have Treon for a few more games then its a wrap

He's listed at 203 currently. Last fall he was listed at 190 in the media guide. He weighed 172 in HS. He weighed in at 183 as a FR.

No one has shown me an official weigh in weight produced by UF. It's all been sites trying to drum up hits. No one has shown me where they get 215 for his weight either.

Try this.

He was an early enrollee. If he weighed 172 in his senior season....he would have had to put on 11 lbs. in one month.

Putting on as much weight as he did in one year, good weight, is impossible without help. Sure, if he was a lard arse, 40 lbs. could be done easily.

I just found another recruiting site that listed him at 177.

It doesn't matter either way but he didn't gain 43 pounds in 1 year.

ETA: None of us really know what he took but there are those that will maintain that he shot up with muscle head steroids just because they either hate UF or are apparently magical with their ability to see the events in Will's life without actually being there. It's just the way shite works.

I have no idea what he took so I won't claim it was vitamins laced with something nor will I claim that it was something more "sinister".

The fact that UF is 10-1 with Treon Harris having started a few games, shite OL depth, and Nussmeier we OC is nothing shy of a brilliant coaching season for Coach Mac.
