Georgia? Alabama? We have a coach for you. At this point people would almost create a go fund me for someone to take Chad Holbrook.

yall kind of remind me of LSU fans after smoke laval failed to take LSU to the CWS for the first time. i think he was fired the next year.

#FireChadHolbrook ... he's gotta go. Five years is long enough.

Shame that LSU fans don't demand excellence in CBB the way aTm fans do. To have all the championships they do would be sweet...oh, never mind.

You get beat 19-1 on your home field, or pasted by 15 two years in a row to a border rival, you want the coach gone. A team should never lose 19-1 to anyone, especially with the talent we have.

shite even though LSU hasn't been playing great, if they lose to South Carolina at home, that would be a huge disappointment.

One win in Omaha since 2009. He has 2 years IMO to do something or he's gone. Shoulda let him go to TU last year.

UK is a buzzsaw right now. They're getting walks because pitchers know they'll hammer any ball over the plate.
Should have played them at the begining of the year. Now they're on fire.

They're really good, but not likely to be the champions.
Have the Cats ever made it into the CWS?

That shouldn't really play a factor. Had CC made it before last year?

Here are their losses
-1 :: 04/21 :: H :: LSU :: SEC (beat 12-5 and 10-2 for series)
-1 :: 04/15 :: A :: Missouri :: SEC (beat 5-2 and 6-1 for series)
-1 :: 03/08 :: A :: Cincinnati :: AAC (beat soundly 13-7 on later game)
-1 :: 02/26 :: A :: Delaware :: Colonial
-1 :: 02/22 :: A :: Liberty :: Big South
-1 :: 02/19 :: A :: North Carolina :: ACC
-1 :: 02/18 :: A :: North Carolina :: ACC
-2 :: 04/04 :: A :: Louisville :: ACC (beat soundly 13-7 on later game)
-2 :: 04/02 :: H :: Vanderbilt :: SEC (beat 10-3 and 7-4 for series)
-2 :: 02/17 :: A :: North Carolina :: ACC
-3 :: 03/23 :: H :: Ole Miss :: SEC (beat 4-2 and 4-1 for series)
-4 :: 04/09 :: A :: Mississippi State :: SEC (won single game 5-2)
-4 :: 04/08 :: A :: Mississippi State :: SEC (won single game 5-2)
While many would say their home park favors their style of play I think the ability to stay in pretty much any game (home or away) shows they could make a CWS run. However some things still are in play
#1 Season is not done yet and baseball is a game of streaks
#2 Another SEC team can get hot in Hoover
#3 NCAA will favorably seed the ACC and PAC to assure they advance
#4 Luck and fate can intervene on behalf of another team
This being said, both UK and State could both make Omaha and both would well represent the conference if they made it there.
Personally, if State can get healthy I would like to see the final series between State and the Cats on a neutral field because of all the story lines such a game would entail.

I think Tennessee, Georgia, & maybe even AlaBama would swap you, even money.

Hell yeah. It'd be a helluva upgrade for Bama. Goff was Battle's parting goof to us before he quit pretending to be an AD. We fricked up. We need to rectify this mistake fast while we still have a program.

Just saw a T-shirt that read:
ATTENTION
Will the team mom of the nine little leaguers left at Sewell-Thomas Field please come and pick them up immediately.....they're beating Alabama 7-4.
