That leaves 2 rotating cross division from a pool of 6. You get to play everyone home and away every 6 years. That doesn't seem like a bad way to do it.
This is how it was done before expansion, but some are too scared to play 9 conference games. I believe LSU is one of those who've voted against it.

Auburn played Georgia Tech way more and I never hear them cry and whine about that series nearly as much as about the Florida series.

LOLOLOL
One of the longest series in the nation and we're going to swap it for something else

They left. Nothing we can do about that. If they were in the SEC, I'd love to play them every year over Florida. But they aren't.

Move Auburn to the East!
How about move Auburn to the ACC.
Georgia seems to still play Tech fairly often.

Everybody is in favor of swapping permanents, except Bama. I think that is a coincidence.
Auburn, UT, and UGA are also not in favor. That's 4 of the Big 6 so that's how it's going to be.

6 division
1 permanent cross division
3 OOC - FBS schools only (pref at least 1 P5)

how about we just get rid of permanent opponents so we all get to play each other evenly.
I don't even give a shite about the equality argument. Under the current format, LSU Plays at Lexington, Columbia (SC), Athens, GA, Nashville, and Knoxville about once a decade.
Meanwhile, we get Tuscaloosa, Auburn, Starkville, Gainesville (weather permitting), and College Station every two years.
frick. That.

We've played Tech. They aren't going to schedule us every year though like UGA because that's two non-conf games against teams that are capable of beating them.
I'd love to see our AD schedule them more often though as well as many other Auburn fans.

tDSOR is going nowhere. Tied for 2nd best rivalry in the conference with TSIO behind the Iron Bowl.

In fact, Alabama was the only member to vote for a 9 SEC conference schedule.

i wasn't talking about schedule equality. more like travel equality like you said. i am getting older and would like to start going to away games again. did alot when in school. but now that im not poor it would be more fun

well Aubie has a history with UF and UGA
LSU has no real history with UGA and the UF thing was always a conference deal, not much there either
LSU has history in the east with Kentucky basically. Not UT, UGA, or Vandy (Ole Miss )
Just move Auburn to the east and Mizzou to the west and be done with it

Get rid of permanent opponents. Not fair for Alabama to get to play a shite program like TN each year for an automatic Win.

seriously who gives a frick. That bs is played up like it's some must have game. Please. Ut and Bama can still play yearly. Bama and Aubie shouldn't play every year anyway, creates crazies who go and kill trees and shite. Both schools need a break IMO
