Msu fans - yes. They've definitely come off as a "little man syndrome" bunch during all of this.

Little man syndrome = being right about every step of this clown show? OK then, call us Nick Saban

You obviously haven't had to deal with any of them. Arrogant is the only word that fits.

I have no sympathy for people that rob banks, brag about robbing a bank to their friends and on social media and take pictures of their loot and then think they are above the law, but when the law comes they play the victim card.

This is the same scenario with OM just a different set of rule breaking. the fackers should go to college football prison.

I do feel sorry for two fan bases though. 1. Georgia. How did they get so unlucky as to get stuck with the absolute worst fan base in the country as one of their main rivals? Sorry Georgia. 2. GT. "Since 1977, UGA has dominated the rivalry, posting a 28–9 record." Sorry guys (not really sorry).

Okay, if you want to get ugly....

Georgia Tech - Mississippi State Series

1908 GT 23 MSU 0
1929 GT 27 MSU 13
2008 GT 38 MSU 7
2009 GT 42 MSU 31
2014 GT 49 MSU 34

Even though we were in same conference for about 50 years we have never played you more than 5 times. Bobby Dodd refused to play in the state of Mississippi. We broke that tradition in 2009 to hand you another defeat. I'm sure we had to bring our own electric generators to have electricity in your backward state. Maybe you will get another opportunity to face us in the future. Until then, you have no basis to trash talk a team you have never beaten.

I feel sorry for the true fans who looked at everything rationally and understood that something was amiss but knew there was nothing they could do about it.
So, I feel sorry for my wife. She's the only OM fan I know who did that. Plus she has to live with me

So you're married to the "enemy", so to say, huh? My first and only marriage was to a clemson alum with me being a Carolina alum. Needless to say, we are divorced. I should have known better than to fraternize with the enemy.

As far as the subject of this thread, I agree with the sentiment of what you stated as well.

Yep, but Mrs Cane was a pro athlete at one point. Her perspective on sports is rare and a lot better than mine. She'll beat your brains out but when the buzzer sounds she's over it and completely turns it off. I don't have that switch

That is hilarious coming from an LSU fan and the way your fan base acts.

I'm crying tears just as big as horse turds over this I assure you. Golly gee do I feel just awful for those cheating turds.

Okay, my buddies on here who are Ole Miss fans I do feel bad for. I'm more then happy to revel in the misery of the rest of them.

After thinking about it, I do feel sorry for the base of OM fans. The people who buy season tix and look forward to seeing their old friends at a tailgate every year. They probably don't deserve to be shat upon.

The good news is they probably couldn't care less about other fans crapping on them.

I admittedly love laughing at the rebears who just love OM ever since CHF beat Bama a couple of times

Screw those leaches and their confederate ways

I don't even feel sorry for Ole Miss fans. There has been so much arrogance that has come into play throughout this entire debacle of how "nothing will happen to us," or "Freeze would never do anything like that," or "the NCAA is just after us, and it's a witch hunt." Here we are now with Freeze being caught contacting an escort service from a University issued phone, and Matt Luke as our head coach for this season because of Freeze's antics. Oh and by the way, we're still waiting on the NCAA. My outlook on it was "we'll see" because I never thought that Freeze was completely clean especially with the NCAA snooping around for as long as they did. I personally feel sorry for our players, and not our fans. I'm sure many of our players feel like they were told lies by Freeze of the type of man he portrayed to be when recruiting them. I'm hoping they will come out this season, and play with some heart, but they could easily say screw this and lay down. Time will tell.

I don't understand feeling sorry for the players. Were they not the ones with their hands out and accepting impermissible benefits in the first place? Plus they will just transfer out if it gets bad. I would feel sorry for the fans long before I would the players, coaches, or boosters who all contributed to this mess.

As an LSU old timer who thinks that Cannon's punt return & the Bert Jones to Brad Davis TD pass with 4 seconds remaining are the two greatest college football plays in history: No, I do not. I am worried, however, that there is another Harvey Updyke type out there who mite poison the Grove. Or drape his junk over a passed out Moo St. fan in a fast food joint. And another perspective: a LOT of Black Bears alums are lawyers. Does anyone ever feel sorry for lawyers?

Yeah, since every one of our players took money or extra benefits from coaches or boosters so let's just say they all had it coming for them. I never said anything about the coaches or boosters. Most of our fans have been arrogant from the start of this shite, and said it was all a "witch hunt" which was the most oblivious statement our fanbase could have made.

Not yet but the real pain is yet to come. Watching the Orgeron hoist that trophy in Atanta is gonna be hard on the state of Missedopportunity. I may o may not feel a twinge of pity when that day inevitably comes.

There's no other fan base I know of that revels in the mass delusion of grandeur that the Ole Miss fan base does. I recently saw it described as the "arrogance of Bama with the trophy case of Vanderbilt" and that's accurate.

No.

Nope. Not at all.
If they had not been caught they would still be cheating and bragging about how great they are.
No sympathy. You reap what you sew.
