Anyone with any moral fiber, common decency, and an ounce of professionalism wouldn't do half the shite he's done, regardless of the glare of the spotlight.
Add on the entitled/"spoiled brat" syndrome where he already comes from family money, then gets a $4m signing bonus and is guaranteed to get another $8m regardless if he's cut, ....well, it's no wonder he gets no sympathy from the working class that would love to have a shot at his wasted opportunities.
I do feel bad for those caring enough to intervene, whether it's family and/or employers that have to watch this unwilling addict derail his life & career.

Can't really say it any better than this. At this point, Johnny being spoiled or a douche or whatever is irrelevant. Kid needs help and I hope he gets it before he ends up dead or worse taking someone with him.

He thumbed his nose at the powers that be since High School,probably,and did what he wanted.
Now it's caught up with him and he can't handle it evidently.
I don't want any harm to come to the kid,I just think he needs a big jolt of reality to get his mind right.

There are lots of things in play here and not all are under his control. There is a proven genetic predisposition component to addiction and that was never under his control. I don't know his parents or other relatives but there is that. So yeah, I do feel for him and hope he can some day realize that he can't control his urges or intake so he just has to quit. He has been surrounded by enablers and some of that he can control but others he couldn't or didn't or probably didn't even realize that they were hurting him rather than helping him. End of the day though, he has to be responsible for whether he lives a life of addiction with or without the substances that control his life. I don't know how long he can go if he chooses the "with" path.

Manziel's parents should take a lot of responsibility for the way little Johnny turned out. He was a privileged rich kid, who got everything he wanted or asked for and was probably never spanked.

I hope he gets his life in order. I feel bad for anyone who gets out of control like he is. He needs help. That said, I also think he's an arrogant, entitled douche who thinks rules don't apply to him. That's his parents fault. They taught him that he's above the rules the rest of the world plays by, and that there aren't consequences for his actions. They created this mess.
I can still think those things, and have no respect for him, but yet feel for his troubles. He's a trainwreck and has been for years, he's just finally about to hit bottom. He's a human being, and he deserves basic human decency and sympathy.
