He is a machine. A little crazy? Perhaps.... But the man is a worker. He never fricking stops. I admit, I have even elevated myself a bit since Saban became Alabama's coach. It's contagious.

It really is. People think we're obsessed, but really it's just the attitude he's brought not just to those affiliated with the University, but even fans. Really makes me mad about the perception others want to create of him. He seems like a genuinely good guy who really cares, but he cares too much and that makes him mad at the simpler things, and people think he's just mad for the sake of being mad.

The handed down story is a bit different than the official new article.

The anger from the cadets was so bad that they loaded up the training cannons and live ammunition onto railcars and sent it to Waco the shell the town. The Texas Rangers stopped the train roughly 40 miles from Waco.

There's a legit reason we hate Baylor.

Thank god for the Texas Rangers, in that case.

Really the wrong attitude, and why your state sucked it up from 1960-1965.

You think so?

Well, let's look at it this way. If the Aggie corps delusions of being actual military had come to fruition and they had indeed managed to "shell Waco," who do you think might have been among any possible casualties?

The perpetrator of the crime against the cadet in question? Not too terribly likely.

Someone who had nothing to do with it? A bit more likely?

Now, out of those people who had nothing to do with it, what would the chances be that it might have been someone with no affiliation with Baylor whatsoever? Maybe a kid? Too high to be fricking acceptable.

Yeah to me murder is never acceptable, even in response to murder. Gotta control yourself in a time like that.

I'll admit that I have no idea what actually happened in the incident in question, so I'm taking what cokebottle is saying at face value.

If the corps had, in fact, loaded up live artillery with the intention of shelling Waco, there's a really fricking high probability that someone would have died, and an even higher probability that the someone in question would have been an innocent.

That shite is fricked up.

I'm also in the Bama camp. Don't think these other teams from bad conferences should get a free ride to the national title game for not playing anyone.

Love or hate Bama, but, I do not see their defense letting opposing offenses move the ball at will or give up 3rd and 15 conversions like someone I follow. I do not see a coaching staff fail against lesser teams either. The just play the way the game was intended. Like saban or not, but he is the best. I want the Gumps vs the ducks.

No. Screw them and stop whining.

Now if you want to say anyone but Bama in the SEC, I could roll with that.

But if Bama wins the SEC, I want them to win the title.

That's what the SEC is supposed to be about, right?
