I like the east chances better this year then in recent years. I would pick the west to win the SEC championship game but give the east about a 30% chance.

In that matchup then certainly the east wins. Big.

Assuming Bama represents the West (because there's a gap after that)...
This year, probably not.
Next year or the year after- could be very likely.
Those 2 teams would be either UGA or UF, here's why... Only those 2 coaches- coach Mac and Kirby would know how to beat Saban.

Just my opinion

Outside of a fluke, Georgia and Tennessee are the only East teams that have the talent on the roster to beat Bama right now.

Not as much talent as Bama up and down the roster, but enough.... there's only 11 players on the field at a time for each team and I think UGA and Tenn's best 11 can be competitive with Bama's best 11 on any given Saturday this year.

UF can if the OL improves. No to everyone else. Bama won't play a defense as talented as UF except maybe for LSU.

You have literally played 2 of the worst Division 1 teams in the United States of America. And will make it a 3rd by playing The University of North Texas this weekend.

We'll see how it plays out next weekend

Theres nobody in the east thats going to win the SECCG. UGA is at least a year away under Kirby and Butch Jones wont make it past Florida this year again. Buttertooth will lose one or two as well.

Glad to see that not many on this board know football. In the SECG we wont have Treon at QB...you should watch video enture UK game to get an understanding of how good Del Rio is and will be even better at years end. On top of that....might wanna brush up on UFs defensive stats..you can say cupcake all you want...but we havent played a div 2 team and UMass and UK do give out schollys. UT had to go to overtime to beat Appl State for cris sake and Va Tech has a QB with no neck...whats UTs defensive stats look like?

It doesnt matter now....the games will solve everything.

A team from the West that lost to South Alabama in their first game just beat South Carolina by 2 touchdowns last weekend.

What do you think?
