Anyone else absolutely hate baseball?

Just organ music playing, people milling about casually during a hot summer day, seeing eye singles, 5-plus minute at bats, 162 freaking games...To me football delivers on so many levels while baseball is just insanely long and boring.

It just seems to be kind of the "safe" sport like the Bon Jovi or Nickelback of sports. Just take the whole family out to the ball park! Women seem to be enthralled with the sport likely due to lack of violence of any kind and everyone knows the rules of baseball so they don't have to feel inferior not understanding the complexities of a 3-4 defense.

Sadly, it used to be very entertaining. Not even ten years ago teams used to score runs.

I wouldn't say I hate baseball, it needs to modernize the game to attract the casual fan. Baseball has become a niche regional sport.
