I have a lot of money on Bama -5. LSU is going to load the box and shut down the run. Their secondary is good enough to handle Bama's average WR's and QB man to man. LSU's WR's can put pressure on Bama's secondary which is really good but not as dominant as LSU's. However, Bama's LB's are so good that we can stop the run without loading the box and will be able to help the secondary out without sacrificing the run. I simply can't see how either team wins this game by more than 4 points and I am going to lose money.

Bama -5. I see why you're nervous.

I would feel fine at -4 or -3. I feel terrible about -5. I rarely bet on Bama or Auburn for obvious reasons, but my dumb arse did for the hell of it and I think I will regret it.

Anyone that gambles gets nervous. That's part of the allure of it. Something for nothing is awesome until you lose something for nothing.

This is called writing a check that your arse cannot cash.

Or, don't let your mouth overload your arse.

I do this for a living - some really good weeks, some bad. I think you're good for this one.

What about regretting a bet that does not include money?

I am not betting on this game. I think the line is a good line and see no reason to bet on something I agree with. Might as well bet on flipping a coin or some other random event when you think a line is where it should be.
