I haven't seen a fanbase this excited about hiring an unproven up and comer since Ms. State a few years ago...

We could be like Arkansas and stick with a coach that has gotten us in the tournament once.

But na....

You instead settled for a coach who was knocked out of the playoffs in the first round his last two or three years with the Mavs and didn't make the playoffs at all his two or three years with the Nets

And you settled for a coach who was blacklisted for lying to the NCAA.

Which is worse?

meanwhile your irrelevant program got swept by the coach we just fired.

Congrats on being the SEC doormat historically and currently in bball. Maybe your cheating head coach can get to .500 down in that shithole, you'll give him a lifetime contract if he can..... If you can afford it.

The Plaid Palace was awesome. I remember going to see us play UNC there back in 88 or 89. That place went crazy beating the powder blues.

Wimp had that place rocking. Coleman was harder than heck to win at and it was usually a tough ticket. Dale vs Wimp was always fun.

Well thank you I59. I went to Winp Sanderson basketball camp. He was a hardass scowly dude and you could tell he really didn't want to be there. I thought it was funny. I'm happy with Avery, we'll see what happens.

The LSU, Kentucky, and Arkansas games were always loud as frick back in the day. So many awesome players back then. SEC basketball teams were littered with future NBA players back then. A far cry from recent years.
