People, this is clearly a metaphor for buying players, so, yes, it's SEC-related. To answer the OP's question, you get what you pay for. If you buy Cam Newton, you're getting a better deal than if you bought Jordan Jefferson. It cost y'all a bit more, granted, but the results bear out the wisdom of getting your...car...waxed at that particular car wash.
