but it is unacceptable for the NCAA to be able to drag things out like this with no timeline given for return.
Who says Tunsil and Ole Miss dont know what the end game is already. Just because the common fans dont know, doesnt mean its being dragged out

Of course, if this was Cam Newton the NCAA resolved it in a few hours.
And boom goes the butt hurt

How do you know the NCAA has not already talked to Ole Miss. They have not released a statement and the NCAA surely is not going to release anything.

Auburn knew they bought Cam, but also knew that the NCAA had no subpoena power and that the SEC was not going to take out a national championship front runner. To AUs credit, they played it perfectly.
I think it is odd that OM and Bjork did not take the exact same approach. It makes me wonder if something else is amiss.

I'm starting to think the same thing. The silence on the matter speaks volumes.

No beans to spill. Just find it curious that a defined suspension has not been announced...as a matter of fact, nothing has been announced.
When you couple that with the hyper-aggressiveness of Ross Bjork...coupled with the lack of subpoena power...coupled with the issues with Tunsil's father in law seemingly going away...coupled with Tunsil being on the Cannon facebook page...coupled with some rumors I have heard about the NCAA actually having the goods on the athletic department...it makes me wonder.
That said, like I said, someone told me this morning that he will practice today and will play this weekend.
So, who knows, but I err on the side of thinking nothing will come of this because the NCAA is relatively powerless in the grand scheme of things unless they have cooperating witnesses.

Danny Sheridan is going to announce his bagman on Finebaum. So, he may be done.

This is the risk you run when you go out of state to buy 5 star players.
black bears got caught and the NCAA works on it's own timetables.
black bears knew the consequences of getting caught cheating.
I hope he is back in time to get embarrassed by Myles Garrett.

Tunsil will be back after this week. The NCAA did not link any payments from the athletic department, that's the dumbest shite I have ever heard. He received impermissible benefits from agents. The NCAA suspended him for 6 games, Ole Miss appealed for 4 and lost the appeal. As to why this hasn't been publicly announced, I have no idea.
This is what one of the squirrels in the Grove told me.

Players don't get these games back, and if a player has to sit for an extended period of time, there should be a definite reason provided.
just because we in the public don't have a reason doesn't mean the school wasn't given a reason. and it's not like they can just disclose to the media what all the ncaa has told them so far in an ongoing investigation.

because Cam was the entire team. Without him, Auburn has no shot at a national or sec title. Ole Miss can win without Tunsil. Auburn was willing to go for broke. if they are stripped of a national title later on, so be it. Ole Miss could potentially screw themselves out of something over a player that they can overcome his absence.

What a bunch of knuckleheads. If Tunsil got direct payments from our AD then we can pretty much stop working on new construction projects cause it is over. Hard to imagine that is the case.
Would not surprise me if he missed the whole season just because the NCAA sucks.
Most likely, he misses 6. Most importantly, nobody here knows jack about it.

Still no word?
Must be something a lot more serious than just a loaned car.
Appears this is something involving the OM AD because the NCAA would have issued a ruling by now on something just involving a player's eligibility.
