Any particular reason Alabama plays down to LSU's level year after year?

We all know LSU hasn't been good for a while and lose to other SEC West teams on a consistent basis. But for whatever reason they keep the game usually tight with Bama and fight hard.

So the question is does LSU play inspired football against Bama for some reason or does Bama actually play down to LSU's level?

It makes the outcome that much more painful.

3 of the last 6 have been blow outs.

We've won 4 of the last 6 meetings by 2+ scores. IDK what you're talking about.

This is such a sad attempt at trolling. "My team sucks, why didn't you beat us worse?" So fricking embarrassing.

It all depends on which Bama team shows up to face Bama. Sometimes, Bama plays down to Bama and Bama has beaten Bama in the past. Other times, Bama whipes the floor with Bama and they don't beat themselves.

They're only blowouts when the refs decide they don't want LSU to have any chance at all

The game has only been competitive when LSU plays at home.

21-0 in New Orleans 2011 BCS championship

38-17 in Bryant Denny in 2013

30- 16 in Bryant Denny in 2015.

Next year Bama returns almost the entire offense while LSU loses the whole team and has 5 SEC road games with a new coach.

The future is looking bleak.

Only every other year. But I'm still not happy about it. Bama should have put up 20+ Saturday.

Saving it up for the playoffs. No reason to go full speed against a lightweight. The days of Alabama players having to get up for an LSU are long gone.

Not worried. You barely scored 10 points after dominating TOP the entire game

Bama tards constantly talk about how many hypothetical points they scored. It really is mind blowing reading some of the shite they say.

Alabama plays very conservative against LSU because every year the defense is awesome. If we turn the ball over, then we can lose. The games are close because Alabama respects the fact that the D alone can beat you.

Just my opinion.
