Cervone has prosecuted plenty of Florida football players and former grads. But keep fighting the good fight I guess.

For what, may I ask? I mean...minor stuff? Slap on the wrist stuff...or sexual assault type of things?
Look, I could care less about Florida....but when you guys do stuff like this how do you think it looks? I mean, come on. If it were Georgia you would be all over us.

It most certainly is inappropriate. I would call it unethical and a conflict of interest, too. But you are serious. You don't see a conflict of interest in this at all?

If it were your sister and they did this, how would you feel?

Would you be saying "Nothing to see here! Perfectly ok and ethical to do this!"

If it were my daughter I would be suing the ever living daylights out of them.

Dude. He may very well be innocent of these charges. But the way the University of Florida is covering this up it makes him look guilty. If the DA were ethical he would recuse himself. if the Attorney were ethical he would recuse HIMSELF. You guys need to get unbiased people in there to take a look at that. Why wouldn't you?

He wasn't a football player he ran track and field decades ago.

I've been annoyed by how dumb it was in so far as it has invited attack on what previously had been a well handled process. Even the lawyer had said the process had been good.

Anyone involved in the case would be angry but the law allows UF to pick who they want.

Well. That changes everything then. No conflict of interest there.

Seriously? that's your defense?

Florida puts an attorney that went to the University in charge of the case....then you come on here pointing to a statement the DA made about the case and we find out the DA went to the University of Florida?

Wow. Just. WOW.

But you can't criticize the handling of this, can you?
I would think UF would want to get people totally unconnected with the University to handle this. The way they are doing it makes the kid look guilty. Whether he is or not he definitely looks like he is because of the way UF is handling this. Why would they do this? Why would they even THINK about doing this?

I am too dumb?

Let's see...

Girl accuses UF player of sexual assault.
UF assigns former UF athlete/student to handle the case
DA, a former UF student says "Nothing to see here!"
UF fans run around saying, "SEE? He was not guilty. She had a hearing and nothing was found!"

You guys are in for another Aaron Hernandez situation handling things this way, but you see nothing wrong with it.

Honestly. If you were that woman, would you feel like you had a fair and impartial hearing?

Your defending this is "literally too dumb" to comprehend.

Yes because the texts she sent, and entered into evidence, were clearly changed into something leading to exclude Callaway from guilt because the cell phones were sold in the state of Florida. I mean MY GAWD, the travesty of it all! Cell phones, changing the wording of texts to exonerate a player, ALL BY THEMSELVES! What's next? The hospital forging an incident report to show no injuries or forced entry? HIPPA would not be happy with that...

Cervone has sent plenty of former UF grads to prison. And from your post you clearly don't understand how a title 9 investigation is run. The primary investigator at UF right now is from Hofstra. Do you think she's biased too? The athlete guy was just in charge of running the hearing. Not the actual investigation. Which lasted 8 full months.

So tell us oh wise one. If it was so clear cut that Callaway was innocent...why the heck did Florida proceed to stack the deck? Why not just get uninterested parties to take control of the case?

SURELY Florida knew how this would look, so if it was so obvious Callaway was innocent, why go to such lengths to make him look guilty and in need of help?

Oh. And when you get ready to admit Florida screwed this up please let me know. But I won't hold my breath.

Really? Well, if he was "only" running the hearing....I guess he would have absolutely no influence at all, would he? I mean, the actual hearing would have absolutely no influence at all on the...well....the hearing?

What has Cerone sent Florida football players to prison for?
Since you obviously are so familiar who were the players and what did he send them up for?

I can't wait to see this, since you guys have been telling us all how clean your program has been. Prison?

Dawgs Life is a dumb arse leghumper who hates Florida and just throwing shitballs which are falling on his own head.

The DA stated it was NOT a criminal case...why? Well dumbass,...1)she never reported anything to the police 2) texts show that she lied (thats right.. women do lie) 3)there were also witnesses that were willing and did testify that Calloway was not the aggressor.

Some of these college girls are vicious and if you dont call the next day or are seen with another women...all hell breaks loose and she will do her best to rip you to shreds. Its a shame but athletes have to be wary as hell with whack jobs. Calloway was suspended 8 freaking months for nothing. There is NO CRIME. UF just tried to be pro active to the nth degree at his expense.

Now go out and play in the traffic dawgie arse.
