I still agree with what we were saying in that thread. The team played great down the stretch last night. They cut a 13 point lead to 2 with a chance to win the game. However, Grant's end game management is just awful and probably always will be.
We have to make the NCAA's. If we do he is good. If we don't he will probably be fired. I think it really is as simple as that.

I think the "Wounded Warrior Project" can do better than that. Those were KMart worthy.

This team really isn't any better than all the others he's produced. It looks like it right now, because we had the advantage of playing UT and A&M while they were missing important players. In the end, it will be just like the rest - We beat the bad teams, we beat a few decent teams in Tuscaloosa, and we lose to anyone with a pulse outside of Tuscaloosa.
Those talking about how the team showed heart and came back last night must be forgetting why we had to come back.
Oh, and that last play was genius - Let most of the time run out, then call timeout when Retin is almost to the rim, giving us 11 seconds to try our patented "jack up a contested 3" play.

I love it when people talk down to others about their IQ of a sport just to try to make their case.
What exactly happened on the trip when we called timeout, and didn't even get a shot off? What the excuse for that trip?
What about the game where we called timeout with the ball under the goal at the end of the game, and the only shot we could get was a fall away 3 from Rodney Cooper?
I'll make it easier for you. Find one time in Gran't tenure where we called timeout, and came out of the timeout and got a good shot.
