Yep, daniel hood. I believe she was about 13 at the time too.

Oh, but he was sorry and felt bad so UT welcomed him with open arms. He's a good boy now.

By your standards, we're all counting general student body crimes toward cup points.

Were general student body members in pads at the most recent Tennessee bowl practice? Did they suit up for home games?

His playing time doesn't factor into his status as a member of the team. By YOUR standards, kids currently redshirting don't count as they haven't played with the team yet.

He hasn't been on the team since Jan. 2.

A redshirt is on the team. This guy was off the team when the crime is alleged to have occurred.

Tennessee taking back the Fulmer Cup. At least they are making a real effort at beating Florida at something.

If you read the article it says FORMER Tennessee football player in the first sentence.

as I said in my OP in this thread, I hear what you're saying on the kid transferring, but as long as he is a full-time student ON scholarship (which he is until his transfer destination is finalized and the semester ends) it counts toward the Fulmer Cup.

Instead of focusing on this single transferring (still on scholly) player who is accused of rape, why not focus on the apparent systemic issue on campus with football players who were on the 2014 team (including this guy)?

That's a change of pace from the players being rape victims

He was 13, there's a lot more to that story than WG posted.

But, but, but.... Brick by brick. tFear is real! Butch is getting highly ranked classes with like 45 recruits each and back counting and third down for what. Don't waste time with reasoning here. We want to brag about facilities and how good we will be in a few years.

Rape is a disgusting crime. Discussing whether or not Fulmer cup points count seems like a legit thing to discuss in regards to this.

That's not exactly what happened, but go on with your narrative, it's entertaining.

tell us about it then.

I believe he was a lookout/watcher, but the fact remains his young teenage cousin was raped with a plunger while he either participated or watched. There really isn't any way to spin that.

If an adult did that, they wouldnt' be able to get an above minimum wage job for probably at least a decade. Hell, a DUI will frick a lot of people's lives over for years. Yet with daniel, he was warmly accepted to the UT football team just 5 years later.

Even for a board that prides itself in trollyollyolling talking about this topic in terms of keeping score gives me the willies.

Tenner, on the cusp of a return to glory, riding the wave of high-character amongst its student athletes.
