I owe you guys an apology. I was just on the predictions thread and I looked up the previous years predictions and the vols were definitely not overconfident the last few years and I have been saying you were. I was wrong. My bad.

Both sides are wrong on this thread. First off Tennessee fans need to quit talking shite to a team that we haven't beat since 2004. The bottom line is they own our arse and they will continue to until we finally beat them. On the other hand Florida fans think this is gonna be some easy game when Tennessee is clearly the better team on paper.

As a perspective...before this message board existed as it does now back in 1980s...UF suffered at the hands of Vince Dooley quite a bit. We went to games knowing that there was a very good chance UGA would beat us...1980-83 as prime examples...then we rejoiced in 1984 and tied them in 1985 before our scholly limits kicked in and we sagged...but we didnt ever have losing season because of the crippling limits. Kerwin Bell limped to the end zone against AU and threw TD pass in a driving rainstorm against the girls school to allow us six wins.
Spurrier came home in 1990 and then UGA was the victim. No one talked shite like UT fans when they were losing. UT has come out every August (this year in May) and proclaimed they will beat us...yawn...even though their reasoning this year is that they beat Vandy KYjelly and USCe ?? WTF? Wait til you do something. If you beat us ten straight Id keep my mouth shut.
