Not arguing that point at all. I'd love to see us play A&M, but I'd equally love a rematch with y'all after the last head to head matchup we had with y'all in 2010. I'm thinking if we beat y'all then with our notorious drunken QB Garcia, what would happen now with the Shaw/Thompson duo and Clowney and company on the other side of the ball. It would make for a great game.

If you add up the win/loss SEC records, his prediction doesn't make sense... the East is .500, but the west is over .500 (by 6 games).

bold prediction indeed, josh moon...

You guys are certainly better than you were in 2010 (though Garcia was on his game that night), we're also light years better than we were in 2010 as well, especially on offense and more leadership on defense. I agree - it'd be a great match-up.

I wouldn't be surprised to see another nailbiter of an SECCG in a Tide/Cocks matchup.

In his defense, he didn't know the actual schedules

Thought I kept up with the squad pretty closely, apparently not.

he's retarded... the first rule of predictions is to they need to make sense. Moon's got more wins than losses in the overall conference schedule.

Instead of the OP calling this a BOLD prediction, let's just call it an ill-informed one.

Why would it make us mad? It is very possible that we lose to Clemson, South Carolina, Florida and LSU....I think most of us have said it is possible to play out like that. We don't THINK it will, and we HOPE it won't....but it could.

Meh...that would have made the subject line way too long.

This is what full retard looks like. Admit it, you saw UGA listed at 8-4 and almost shat your pants.

EAST

quote:

1. South Carolina (12-0, 8-0): Name another team in the conference with as few question marks. The Gamecocks have every answer. They’ll have one of the best defenses in the country, a solid offense and sound head coach. They’ll also have an underrated QB in Connor Shaw.

FINALLY, someone else besides the experts at ESPN and oddmakers who get it! Someone who can see through all the bullshite and use logic and reason to come up with accurate projections.

WEST

quote:

1. Texas A&M (11-1, 7-1): I can buy that Alabama is a better team than A&M. But I think the Aggies are still rather sporty, and they’ve got a rather good QB and a very favorable schedule. They slip once (LSU), but not in the one that really counts. That atmosphere in College Station on Sept. 14 will likely be unmatched this year in college football. I think it ultimately decides the West.

Dammit, what happened to this guy's logic?

I was kinda in disbelief when I saw that he had Vandy before y'all...hell, even him having Florida before y'all made me look twice. I firmly believe that it is going to be a toss up between us and y'all...whoever walks away from Athens victorious will be the SEC-E Champion.

Oh..and when he mentioned that we needed Missouri bc we needed a new Vandy it made me laugh.
