Too bad Alabama High School talent isn't as good as Louisiana.

Better in high school, better in the pros, what's the deal with college?

Saban's ability to recruit in Louisiana has hurt LSU no question about it. Fortunately for us we have created great pipelines from Texas to reduce the damage. The way I see it, it is a wash.

He has to try and recruit Louisiana, this is where the talent is. But LSU STILL gets the majority of the best Louisiana talent every year.
Plus the very few that choose another school don't hurt LSU, as we replace them with many just as good or better players either in state (Lawrence, Fournette e.g.) or out of state (2017 LB Phillips from Texas, Jamal Adams, e.g.)

Hell we've even gotten a bunch of decent (though not La-caliber) recruits from that place 2 states over to the east in the last few years (J.Williford, K.Alexander, K.Allen, C.Neighbors, etc.)

My question is why doesn't LSU ever get any JUCO players, even when they are seriously deficient, like at LB? Miss State, Alabama, etc., regularly recruit JUCOs.

My question is why do you care? Oh yeah, you hate LSU. My bad I forgot. Thanks for the reminder.

Louisiana just happens to be the most fertile top recruiting state per capita in the U.S

True.

LA leads all states (DC is technically the highest per capita region, but not a state) in pro athletes produced per 1000,000 residents: Louisiana (2.08), Georgia (1.90), Alabama (1.81).

But, Bama is just behind in third. LSU enjoys no in state competition, so that's a big advantage. CNS cherry picking primarily the top in state talent, a couple each class from almost equally fertile GA and LA, and the rest nationwide isn't too shabby.

where do pro athletes come from study

Link if interested. Not surprising, the SE La, Ga, Bama, Fl, Ms dominate the per capita rankings.

FL is also top 3 in the total produced alongside TX and CA. No surprise, it remains the most competitive recruiting area.

Click on the CFB link in the opening paragraph and provides a few other interesting data points like avg. Recruit distance from home per fbs school, etc.

You guys are going to be disappointed in this kid. Unfortunately, football is not played in shorts and t-shirts. If you've seen him play, you know what I'm talking about.

I don't know what you're talking about. He lead the best HS team in the country in tackles and I'm pretty sure they wore pads. Care to explain?

Moses is Collins 2.0.

We all know it, but it pains half of us to admit it
