our best player pitched on Friday night. But Thompson is number 2 for sure.

Well either way, it leaves absolutely no doubt that Auburn is a more talented, better coached, and all around better team than USCjr, without question.

Chad Holbrook should have been fired after the Clemson debacle. This is even worse. Get his sorry arse out of town.

What was the Clemson debacle? Losing the series? A lot of teams are doing that this year.
That Holbrook is a fine man and a great baseball mind, and Tanner would be crazy to fire him. And all the teams who get to play y'all every year would be sad.

We leave men on base in droves, no clutch hitting, too many strikeouts, a bullpen that is blowing lead after lead, firing your hitting coach, bunting with 2 outs in the 9th and the tying run on 3rd...not to mention this team hasn't sniffed Omaha since 2012.

Ray Tanner is a country boy who has been given the keys to a multi-million dollar business that he has no business running. He made his first mistake by resigning as our baseball coach and his second mistake by hiring the wrong assistant. He should have hired Monte Lee.

I was kidding; Holbrook is pretty terrible. Y'all are having a good year in spite of him. Luckily you'll out-talent nearly everyone you play until regionals.

It's frustrating how talented of a team we have and it's just wasted.

It's not losing to Auburn. They're a damn good team. It's HOW we lost to Auburn. Pissing away chances.

Same story with Clemson. Clemson has a good team, but it's how we lost not because we lost.

I didn't get to see the Auburn series, but the Clemson series could have gone 3-0 either way. The first game was won on an error, the second was won in the 9th, and the third game in the 11th.

That's baseball, man. Especially at this level. It's not automatic, and that's why we like it. You never know when the first baseman is going to inexplicably drop a fly in foul territory that ends up costing the game. Maddening.

Sounds like Carolina and LSU are mirror images of each other right now. Should be a fun series in May

know how you feel man LSU had 2 of 3 in the bag this weekend against the faggies. They pinch hit a bat boy hitting in the .100s and he squirrels a 3 run bomb to win. Its baseball man. It will all even out in the end and those that should be in the hunt will be.

What's y'alls record in conference play? 5-4? Ouch. And you've lost 2 whole series already this early? Ouch

Auburn was picked last in the conference, I knew we were better than that, but to take series over UF and USC is amazing.
