That's kinda the point. That event pays for the annual re-sodding of the field...so LSU makes money on the Superfest, and gets a new field afterwards for free.

It was pretty bad in 2010. There were divots everywhere around the 35 yard line.

Worked out okay for us.

Not quite what you're asking but we used to be able to go onto the field after a game and just hang out, toss around a ball or take pictures.

Unfortunately, the SEC rules put an end to that.
