RG III meant more to Baylor than TR did to Bama, TM7 did to LSU, Ball did to Wiscy.

Luck means equally as much to Stanford, but RG III had the much better year.

They got it right. There really isn't an argument against the decision.

They got it right, but my only contention is how much the last week means now. Had Baylor not had a game last week, Luck probably wins this award.

this is the way i look at it. as great as TM7 is, he wasnt missed AT ALL in the game he was suspended for. that probably says more about depth at the position at lsu than it does tyrann, but still.

We all knew really, but som bitch this guy isn't going to do shite. Another year where the guy that ends up having the best career in the NFL gets snubbed.

You mean like Suh being better than Ingram?

I agree. I think Luck is the much better player/QB prospect.

It is kind of stupid. They almost treat it like a playoff system. The first 9-10 games determine who the finalists are, and then the rest of the season determines who wins.

RG3 had a better year, not sure why you keep bringing up pro prospect that means nothing.

It's not about a "prospect" or the NFL. Why do you keep bringing this up?

Debatable. I love how everyone bitches about ESPN's influence, yet every poster in here is quoting ESPN word for word basically.

All the pundits said he was the best, so he was the best.

You probably said the same thing last year about Luck and Cam and probably thought Cam would be a bust. So far that's pretty spot on

It's crazy how they vote now. I guess I can't be too hard on the process. This mindset helped Mark Ingram win in 2009. He was dead in the water for the Heisman after the AU game, but then his big game against Florida a week later wins it for him. Amazing how the media works sometimes.

Actually I didn't have an opinion on Cam at the next level. I'm still holding out on it too. Just like Tebow.

You didn't watch one of RG3's games I'm guessing.

1. Robert Griffin III, QB, Baylor
Stats: 267/369, 3,998 yards, 36 TD, 6 INT, 161 att., 644 yards, 9 TD

2. Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford
Stats: 261/373, 3,170 yards, 35 TD, 9 INT, 43 att., 153 yards, 2 TD

No, not really debatable.....

Your right GUMP!! Brandon Wheedon and Oklahoma State should have gotten more respect. He and them should be playing LSU in New Orleans 1/9/11.
