Yes, they are being funded by our donors. Trust me, Tennessee has plenty of them.

Exactly, so money doesn't really factor into the equation. In all honesty, who would you rather have as HC: Lane Kiffin or Jon Gruden?

Kinda reminds me of NC St a few years ago, with Amato...had Norm Chow and a bunch of very highly paid assistants.

They broke up after 5 years I think, and 8 National Championships...

We will wait and see if Lane, "still shitting yellow with Pappa to clean his arse" and talking big will be able to play with the GA, FL, AL, LSU.... big boys in the SEC. Not for a while under best circustances. Coach O will be in a bad mood and pounding his wife every Saturday night.

Eddie Gran made it clear that he wanted to remain at Auburn, but Gene Chizik decided not to retain him. Eddie Gran's only two options were the unemployemnt line or working at Tennessee. I have never heard anybody else claim that Eddie Gran was Auburn's best recruiter either.

With the staff now complete, not only do we have the best recruiters in the SEC but some of the best in the country," Kiffin said. So who's going to actually COACH the team???

That would seem to be the obvious sequence, if ever.

Mike Shula had like 5 former head coaches on his staff and look how that turned out.

Kiffin was turned down for the University of Minnesota job before accepting the job at Oakland.

So you just hired a guy the Gophers didn't even want simply so you could bring in an amazing DC who is what.... 80?

You realize Mike Shula's dad was Don Shula one of the NFL's greatest coaches and look what it got him!

Well, at least people are starting to hate UT again. People only like you when you suck. That's why everyone thinks Vandy and Kentucky "have the best fans."

In my book, if CLK is pissing other SEC fans off, i say keep up the good work.

Haha you can talk when the dude actually proves himself in the conference. Until then, all of his fabricated and outrageous claims are just laughable to the other major schools.

You've sucked for the last two years and my hatred is unchanged. You guys have gone and hired a stupid, cocky punk to coach your team and have some pretty shaddy recruiters coming in (yes LT is one of them). This is going to blow up in Tennessee's face so badly. It will bring sheer joy watching UT go down.

In exactly one year (probably sooner), you'll be wishing he would stfu. book it.

Shula was way under rated - AND he had to deal with the NCAA sanctions. Same # of losses in his last 2 seasons as saban in his first 2.

Just sayin'.....

Only main problem is that they will have to recruit many out of state athletes. Not saying that they won't be able to, but we'll have to wait and see.

With the support/money that UT has it was inevitable that they would build a solid incoming staff. Hopefully their coaching is not as good as their recruiting :)

Whats really going to interesting is seeing how all of them huge arse egos work together when things aren't going good. What if the defensive players don't grasp Daddy's defensive schemes and the performance suffers. Will little Kiffin have the balls to deal with it.
