Yeah, there were three blowouts (:nb4coltgothurt:) and a close game, but there's one thing that Saban really needs to work on going forward.

He seemed a little more comfortable hoisting the crystal ball than he did the CFP trophy. At least he'll get a little more practice in Tampa this January.

Yep. That Texas defense was stout as hell.
I actually wish he hadn't got hurt. Imo that game wouldve came down to the last seconds. And wouldve been a Goat game.

Bama's 2012 NC was sort of gift wrapped. If not for some archaic NCAA rules that most players/teams avoid by just not cooperating, tOSU would have been in the title game with ND, not Bama.

If Ole Piss doesn't pull one of the most incredibly stupid defensive gaffs in the history of SEC football..Bama doesn't play for the title last year.

of course..on the flipside...without the equally incredible stupid decision to kick an unmakable FG vs. Auburn..Bama, not Auburn would have probably won the 2011 championship.

The LSU-Bama rematch should not have happened. One of the hugest mistakes of the BCS era. You lose..sorry. The 2006 tOSU-Mich game proved that. What if Mich gets the rematch and beats tOSU? No way in hell Mich was best team..Fla and USC proved that. Rematches ALWAYS favor the team who lost the 1st game.

counting McCoy going down in the NC game tho...Bama has had their share of breaks that had nothing to do with them...sometimes that's how it goes..but to their credit..they were in the right place to capitalize. They have been as opportunistic as they have been good.

sorry..wrong year..Bama would have played for title..not Auburn..Auby lost.

Auburn's incredible fortune in 2011 is that they snatched victory from defeat 4 times.

You know the guy that redoes all the natties will come in and change them.

2009-If only Colt hadn't got hurt..... Texas
2011-Unfair, LSU had already beaten Bama...... LSU
2012-Hey, it's Notre Dame.... Notre Dame
2015-On-side kick... UnFaIr! ...... Clemson

*Bonus.... Ingram & Henry didn't deserve the heisman.

Edit for the Buckeye above....

2012 - "Bama's 2012 NC was sort of gift wrapped. If not for some archaic NCAA rules that most players/teams avoid by just not cooperating, tOSU would have been in the title game with ND, not Bama." .... LowCountryBuckeye
