Dumb corndog. You're delusional if you think auburn scores 28 on our great defense. Auburn couldn't score 28 against that thing you call a " third and Chavis".

I'm not crying about it, but if you say that wasn't a horse collar than youre crazy. You guys won, we had other chances to win the game but we didn't, you guys won

First of all, you lost to an average LSU team. Secondly, your one stupid DB's attempt to catch, instead of knock down, away from having 2 losses. You guys need to settle down. Bama 45....AU 28...

As of auburn shouldn't be proud. Last year they were winless in the sec and had one of the worst sports years in the 3 majors men's sports by finishing last in the west in football, basketball, and baseball

The only reason he stopped JFF's forward movement is because he grabbed the inside of his shoulder pads. Gripping the inside of the pads, the defender pulled JFF immediately down. In an effort to disguise the illicit move, the defender put his right hand on JFF's right arm while dragging him to the ground with his left. If it was the force from the defender's right arm that caused the tackle, JFF wouldn't have been drug downwards and back as you can easily see in the GIF.

quote:

ARTICLE 15. All players are prohibited from grabbing the inside back collar of the shoulder pads or jersey, or the inside collar of the side of the shoulder pads or jersey, and immediately pulling the ball carrier down.

This is what happened as demonstrated by the GIF. The defender's right arm is nothing but a feeble attempt to disguise the penalty.
quote:

What you need to ask yourself is why you were in the position to where you needed that personal foul call to have a shot at winning the game. Get a defense and you win the national championship this year, any defense at all.

Agreed. But just because we don't have a defense doesn't mean the refs have carte blanche to ignore the rules.

Do you live in New Orleans? If so, can I stay at your place for New Year's? You can stay at mine in Atlanta. Deal?

"It could happen.........."

I definitely think Auburn can win but McCarron has never lost a road game as a starter. JHS will be loud but it won't be any louder than Tiger Stadium was last year.

again, I can't tell if that is jersey or inside of pads, call goes either way and with the ref on the other side of Manziel he sees Manziel go down and spin around at the same time hence the no call. Don't cry about it but that isn't why you lost, it would have just given you a free first down to try to win.

Come on.
And it doesn't matter whether or not it's jersey or pads.

Dude, it was a horse collar.

The point is, it shouldn't be the basis for a team on why they lost the game. A&M was at home, had a 10 point lead in the 4th, and was also the beneficiary on blown calls. It goes both ways.

But please, stop arguing the non-call. His hand was clearly inside the jersey around the back of the neck.

Don't care if people think Auburn is good. I am rooting for them the remainder of this season.

Read the rule again. Once you do, you'll realize it's a horse collar either way.

What's more, you can actually see the defender clutching inside the pad once he begins his descent downward.

It's an indisputable horsecollar.

We would've had it on what, the 5 yard line?

Please. You ain't stopping Evans from there.

again, so you need a personal foul to pick up a first down and help your drive? It's not like it was a blatent pass interference in the end zone that took points from you, it was a personal foul call.

Oy.
And with that, time for a drink.
(I'm reliving the pain)
The thrill of victory, the agony of defeat.

JFF likely drops back and does some weird-arse shimmer before slipping into the EZ.

I am sorry. Your win cannot be recognized.
