These two were the best players in the SEC from 2012-2014 and now both are having fantastic rookie seasons.

Who wins rookie of the year or will they give it to Winston?

I would go with Gurley. Amari had a great year, but had a lot of drops. Gurley over came an ACL for the second time and still looks just as explosive. It's close, but good RBs impact games more than WRs to me.

Gurley. Not biased at all.

They'll probably give it to Winston because the media is completely gay for quarterbacks.

Gurley is the best back to come out since Peterson IMO and it's rare a rookie back comes in and dominates. Great rookie receivers are a dime a dozen these days.

He's only had one ACL tear?

1,000 yard season as a rookie RB in the NFL a year removed from an ACL tear is unbelievable. Coop had an outstanding year and is deserving as well. The only two that deserve it IMO

I think they'll give it to Winston as well especially if they win another game and finish 7-9. Winston will get all the credit for the improvement from 2-14. Gurley and Cooper are both more deserving.
I would vote Gurley.

I think it's Gurley, easily.

Hard to believe he's back from a wrecked knee.

You're right it was his ankle in 2013 that caused him to miss games.

Georgia is probably the only SEC school with as many or more quality players than Alabama in the NFL.

There's a debate whether Winston is even the best rookie qb

Qbs get all the credit for wins though, if the Bucs finish 7-9 they will probably give it to him.

The Bucs are much more competitive this year mostly because Doug Martin seems to have returned to form and stability within the coaching staff. They'll give all the credit to Winston though.

This... all of it. Doug Martin looked like the worst or second worst back in the league last year... shockingly they struggled to even win two games. This year, he returns back to near "Muscle Hamster" form, and they win 7 games... while Winston has had to make some plays, I'd hardly attribute the transformation to him.

I'm on the fence between Cooper and Gurley... Tie goes to the dawg, so I'll vote Gurley, but Cooper's been a hell of a player this season.

Well I wish they both played for the 49ers and that Cam somehow ended up there lol.

Cooper and Gurley are having great seasons

Cooper. He's putting up numbers Jerry rice-esque for a rookie.
