He certainly tried. Unfortunately we only gave him the ball 11 times despite him gashing the ND defense.

I thought he hurt his ankle in the second half?

Anyway, I cringed every time Jennings threw the ball. Even when he completed passes, I thought it would have been smarter to just keep grinding down the field 5 yards a run.

and yeah, I still do not see how that was not a touchdown.

Haha he did but the coach is an idiot

11 carries is inexcusable.

What a joke.

I mean, what can you say at this point?

I know.

It was like spinning the roulette wheel.

I wasn't surprised. Notre Dame has some talent and a month off is just what they needed to stop the bad momentum. They aren't a bad team, and that new QB looks very capable. They aren't a bad team and LSU still has zero passing game with Jennings. Using Dural on sweeps just to get the ball in his hands because the QB can't...

LSU needs a quarterback.

I was very surprised. Sure LSU s offense has struggled at times, but enough points were there to win.

Defense blew this game, big time.
How did this same defense keep Bama and Ole Miss down, but failed time and again to an inferior Notre Dame team? I honestly thought there was a fair chance LSU would shut them out.

You and every LSU fan

If Jennings is the future at qb we're in big trouble. The qb situation at LSU is one of the most infuriating things to deal with as a fan. One position has handcuffed the entire program so many times since Miles has been here its unreal.

Two were emotional home games and the other was on a cold Tuesday in Nashville?

Really though, they looked at the State film and basically just did that.

I do still think this is a great defense next year, but this year it was just incomplete. The zone readers with a big running back shredded LSU against MSU, Auburn, and Notre Dame.
