I know deep down that A&M players have deals with NIL. Which is freggin legal. Also the whole “Why would anybody want to come to CS?” College Station is 2 times the better place to live than Tiger King Norman buttshit methhead Oklahoma. Ain’t shite in Norman.

Our recruiting skyrocketed as a direct result of us being allowed per NCAA rules to pay recruits. I'd be worried about the schools that didn't get recruiting boosts from NIL, what's your excuse? Maybe you been paying players the whole time?

The "your college town sucks" thing is totally annoying. But Norman isn't bad considering you have a college town feel but you are actually in a 1.4 million metro area.
Every college town is kind of cool in it's own way.

Ahh yes . . .the cultural mecca that is Oklahoma City. It allows recruits a nearly limitless choice of Cheddars, Applebees, strip clubs, and line dancing with the local farmers.

Yeah nobody does that. There is always the pitch of money up front, money down the road or both. Money up front with bags/NIL or money down the road with putting players into the NFL. Players don’t care about the college town or traditions or whatever it is the fans care about. They want get the opportunity to play so they make a living playing the sport they love.

This mentality goes back a long time. I am Georgia born and raised but lived in Bryan-College Station for a year and a half back in the mid-1970s. I remember the athletic dorm parking lot filled to the brim with high-end Benzes, BMWs, and Vets. Fast forward 5 years to 1980 and I remember all the rampant speculation in Georgia about who actually bought that new Trans Am that Hearshel Walker was driving. I laughed so hard I choked up.
BTW, despite having all that talent, aTm always lost a couple of games they shouldn't have, and never won an SWC championship during that era. Sound familiar?
