I wish we could make this happen. There were a couple pictures a while back showing a powder blue helmet...that had a matte finish to it.

State fans know judgement day is coming in November and they are scared as frick. They know within a year that ole miss will be dominating them like the last 100 years. It's funny to watch them try to down play it. These are your glory years state fans, enjoy it before its over

It's a red game weekend, correct? So we'll be wearing red jerseys and that picture of the powder blue leaked out of the athletic office, IIRC.

To be honest, I sort of wish State well this year, as long as we do pretty mediocre season (5-6 wins) at that point. The rivalry has been lacking since the 90s, and if that happened, it would bring it back to its highest point.

We've worn red the first two weekends so it wouldn't surprise me if we wore it again. And Requiem, earlier this year there were pics of powder blue helmets that were leaked out along with a helmet with a matte finish from the athletic department. I think it's a possibility.

Agreed. It is more fun when we are both relevant. Thanksgiving night football games on ESPN used to be rocking.

This is the classic David vs Goliath so take it all in stride. If you lose then you were expected to lose but if you win Texas fans will be eating some very bitter crow.
